We would like to let you know more about our school and our Lions Love fundraiser. Kent Academy is a small school based on the mission to teach to the student and not the test. The mission- based education plan was crafted from years of experience, courage, and a genuine effort to teach to each child in the way that they learn. We are in a small “home-school” style learning setting and we take pride in our Kent Family. Our school fills a unique need in the Charlotte community, and we strive to provide an integrated and individualized education at an affordable price. We are proud to be Kent Lions!
You are receiving this link from one of our students as part of our fundraising campaign called Lions Love. 100% of the money raised goes to benefit the Kent Academy students and teachers. Each year the Lions Love campaign raises money to cover educational expenses and other projects vital to our school. ANY amount you would like to donate will be greatly appreciated.
This year our focus is on improving the outdoor space at Kent. Our goal is to raise $12,000 (minimum $500 per student) for the following vital improvements:
- Shade structure for our outdoor patio. This will enable student to eat outside even on hot days, and will enable us to use the space as an outdoor classroom.
- Permanent rubberized mulch to cover our side and back yards to keep play safe.
- A new sign for the front of our school.
