For every dog that we save, we are unable to help another 4 or 5 that need the space just as desperately
The 666 that, up until recently, was the total no. of dogs we have re-homed directly ourselves, could be 2 or 3 times that amount and, as good as we are at what we do, these other dogs are quite often, not making it out alive
This is because we only have 9 kennels available to us at anyone time with a waiting list that stretches to months and let's face it, with the dogs that we specialise in helping, the need for a space is more urgent than not
Whilst we continue to use the monies we earn on a monthly basis for our kennel rent, this will always be the case and we want to be able to reach out and help more dogs. Therefore, this is a direct appeal to raise monies that will go directly to Witherley Boarding Kennels in lieu of our rent, both the arrears and accumulating to ease the burden of having to find between £1200-£1500 per month ourselves simply to stand still
IF we reach a stage where the rent takes care of itself, then all of the hard work we put in monthly can be put towards improvements and possible expansion and you guys can help make it happen, for dogs just like these lucky few......
