Last night one of our teammates, Ken Kliesner, lost his family home to massive fire. Luckily no one was seriously injured but the family has lost almost everything. Ken works on the Supply Chain Support team managing our International Business for the Americas. He is a great employee and even better person.
Multiple crews battled the fire and were able to save some Christmas presents from under the tree but not much else. Neighbors opened their homes to firefighters to warm up as they contained the blaze and are offering their support to the Kliesner family. We are a family at Beam Suntory and we will offer support as well. Any little bit helps for Ken and his family, especially so close to the holidays.
