Hi everyone,
Our daughter, Kelsy, who is only 26 years old, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3C Borderline Ovarian Cancer.
I've never done anything like this before but I have had many people telling me to start this fund as it is something small that we can do to make Kelsy and Stevens lives as comfortable as possible knowing they have one less thing to worry about during this time.
The reason this all came to light was because they were on a mission to start IVF. They had been saving up as much as they could over time to finally get to the doctors office that they had been so scared but excited to get to, to be told there was something more that wasn't right. Within the same week they were in an Oncology Office being told news that nobody wants to hear. This then lead to more testing and waiting which just got more heartbreaking each time.
Kelsy has now gone through major surgeries while dealing with more than anyone her age should have to and Steven has been struggling through it all with her. With me leaving my job and coming down from up north to care for her and my husband also taking time off to be here, we can only help as much as we can.
After all of this they are now not going to be able to start their own family now so I thought the least I could do was start this page to try and make it a little easier for them while continuing to go through this physically and mentally rough time in their life.
We are hoping to raise as much as we can to help cover the continuing medical and living expenses so they can have time to heal and Kelsy can concentrate on getting back to being herself all while smashing this thing out of the park like she has been.
Any donation at all is appreciated and will help immensely. Your amazing generosity will be used to help alleviate so much pressure.
