Kelsey's Breast Reduction

Hello friends and strangers alike! Welcome to my GoFundMe. As obvious from the title, I am getting a breast reduction. You can see in the featured picture that my breasts are very large, 8HH-J in fact. To put things into perspective, I was a DD when I was 12 years old. They are honestly the bain of my existence! I have to spend hundreds of dollars on bras that fit me, as I have no other choice but to shop at speciality stores. My shoudlers are permanently disfigured from the sheer weight of carrying them daily for the last 12 years, which is something I'm self-conscious of and now cannot change. Some nights I am unable to sleep because they are aching during my menstrual cyle, and because of my size I cannot position myself in a way in which there is no pressure on them. Sometimes the act of taking of my bra or walking around braless is painful because of their weight and how much they swell when I'm menstruating. I am very slim, and my surgeon has said that I carry no fat tissue in my breasts, only breast tissue -- thus it will be a 3 hour surgery that will require reconstruction and an overnight stay in hospital. The cost is somewhere close to $10k, but I haven't calculated everything. I qualify for a Medicare and Private Health insurance rebate as it is for medical reasons, however this is only $1350.70... I know, ridiculous right?! So upfront, I have to pay $8,500 for the procedure, plus the anaesthetist which costs 1/3 of the cost of the surgery and the accodommodation costs as well. Not to mention needing surgical bras, silicon tape for my scars and all the pain medication I'll be taking post surgery. Alongside this, it'll be over a month in which I will not be able to make any income! My procedure is booked in for the 21st of November this year, and I'm really in need of some support in helping me raise funds to cover the costs.
