Kelly's Cancer Calamities

In the last week, my beloved dog, Stasia has become very ill. She is in ICU and is waiting for a neurology work up. Also this week, I broke my right arm. 

This is where the sad music starts.

I am also a Stage IV metastatic breast cancer patient. I live alone with just my dog and have devoted the last years of my life to expanding healthcare to all Americans. I live on a small Disabled Veterans pension.

I actually broke my arm while out of town campaigning for pro-healthcare candidates. While I was in the ER being treated, someone took the cash in my backpack. The reporter I was on my way to meet also cancelled our interview.

I not only am facing enormous vet bills but I also need help caring for myself and basic household help. 

In addition to my medical situation, my car needs repairs.
