Ok here's my story. One of my best friends from childhood Sfc Kelly brigham. got diagnosed with cancer last year.  the kind where all they can do for you if try to make you as comfortable as possible. When I heard about it I immediately planed a trip to Montana to see him. I hadn't seen him in 6 years. so I got some gas money together and took off in a car you wouldn't think would make it to the store little own a 500 mile trip. and in Portland 68 miles into it got a flat tire. but wasn't tuning back and drove the rest of the trip on a doughnut tire. long story short I get there and go see him and his wife cassie. also a childhood friend of mine. and first night there he was to sick to get released from the hospital. and prior to my trip  me and cassie had talked about me giving her a tattoo of Kelly's dog tags. and his heartbeat line. and I couldn't believe she wanted me to do such an important and meaningful tattoo. I felt and still feel so honored that they wanted me to do it. anyway that's what we did the first night there was tattoo her. Anyway  getting back to what this is all about.  I had bought a 1969 Ford a couple months before all this. and had taken the glove box door off and took it to Montana with me and had Kelly sign it. and when I got home I started rebuilding the truck. and after countless hours,1 fire, 3 engine teardowns, blood sweat and tears, and almost every extra dollar I made for 9 months sunk into it.  she is almost done and is a tribute to Kelly Brigham an amazing friend husband and soldier. and I had decided on pretty early in the build that I was going to give it to his family. Greg his father and his grandfather and grandmother. witch so happened to be my 3rd grade teacher mrs. Sharp. So I could show them how much Kelly ment to me and everyone that knew him. And now it's time to surprise his family and deliver the truck to them.  And about the only problem is I lost my job and have put all my money into building and painting this truck. and am now broke and needing help from you. to deliver this truck to a hero's family. I don't like to ask for help either. but I cant see any other way to do this by myself.  and driving it up there would be a ridiculous amount of money since it only gets 6mpg and that's a long trip for an old truck. so I would need to tow it up there witch is even more expensive. since I would have to rent truck and dolly. I don't expect anyone to feel obligated to donate. But if you do thank you and I'm sure his family would thank you as well. also if you know any of his family please don't say anything to them about this. I want to suprises them all at once please and thank you. I apologize for how much reading you had to do. lol anyway I love you Kelly. i did this all for you. and thank you for all you have done for me I'll see you again some day brother miss you.
