Kelcy's Journey

We are trying to raise money to assist in medical bills and travel expenses for Kelcy Goolsby and Niki Burnett. Kelcy is a 10 yr old little girl who was diagnosed with Dock-8 in 2011. Dock-8 is a very rare immune deficiency disease that is fatal if left untreated. Kelcy has struggled with numerous symptoms and illnesses brought on by this disease for her entire life. Although in the beginning, as little was known about her disease, she was only able to be treated for each individual symptom or illness, a research hospital in Maryland has discovered more permanent treatment for her disease as a whole. kelcy will have to have a liver transplant and a bonemarrow transplant in order to treat her for this disease and substantially increase her life expectancy. Not only will she get better and live longer but her quality of life will be better than she could ever imagine! Her strong courageous mother will be her donor! As they will both be going through several procedures and travel, this family needs all the funds, support, and prayer they can get. Thank you so much for helping give Kelcy the life she deserves!
