While Keith has left us far too early, we know he would be so happy that his passion for helping children enjoy the outdoors and music could continue to live on beyond his death. Keith loved kids and bonded with so many children sharing his love for outdoor sports and music every chance he got.
In lieu of flowers and for friends and family asking how they might honor their memory of Keith we ask that you consider making a donation to this fund to benefit children. All donations go to these 2 non-profit organizations:
- SOS Outreach www.sosoutreach.org Helping kids 8-18 gear up for life. Grounded in outdoor experiences, the program ignites a kid's passion for adventure, inspires the courage to try something new, and instills lifelong lessons and skills.
- TUNES FOR TOTS - www.nuci.org Supports a group of extraordinarily talented musicians to be able to come together in cities around the world to produce live concert events and recordings for sale.
Widespread Panic (a most favorite band of Keith and his Friends) believes that art education, and in particular music education, is integral to the overall education and advancement of children. Art allows for personal expression, appreciation of ideas, celebration of cultural awareness, sharing emotions, and gives purpose to life. Widespread Panic agrees with research findings that art education supports more traditional academic subjects as well as being a worthy pursuit in its own right
All proceeds go to benefit children's charities.
