Stay Brave Thatcher - Cancer Fund
Donation protected
On September 13th, 2016 Steve & Hallie Hawk took Thatcher (their youngest child & brother to Keaton) to the doctor for what they thought was an earache. It turned out to be much more. Doctors found a golf ball sized mass in Thatcher’s skull that needed an immediate operation.
The operation was successful & the tumor was removed. Thatcher is recovering well, but the tumor was found to be cancerous. Thatcher is 2 years old and has been diagnosed with brain cancer. The cancer is treatable, but he has at least 6 months of chemo ahead of him to beat the cancer that is still present. This will most likely be a multi-year battle :(
Thatcher has done incredibly well under the circumstances, showing how brave, among other things, he really is. Keaton is doing well too, providing joy to Steve, Hallie & Thatcher's lives.
The Hawk family need your prayers & help. Steve & Hallie are hands down the friendliest, loving & most amazing people that I know. I am sure that everyone who has met them will agree.
Prayers can only go so far though. The hospital bills will be astronomical, in addition to unforeseen expenses such as hospital parking, child care, food, etc. These bills will certainly mount up & add unnecessary stress.
Thatcher told his parents that he was going to be “brave” right before they took his CT scan in the ER. I am asking everyone who knows the Hawks to donate so that we can help this brave little boy beat this cancer.
I can personally assure you that every penny will go directly to the Hawks to get Thatcher well again.
There is Love in this world,
Thank you for your help.
