Uptown Bill's Coffee House is a warm, intimate setting for live music -- a "listening room" in the words of one of the booking agents in our area. We offer live music every week for all ages and abilities. Our Saturday Night Concerts are booked months in advance.
Offering live music requires us to pay for a performance license to organizations like BMI, ASCAP and SESAC. The annual license fees increase as we offer more music. We also pay for playing or streaming recorded music (CDs, LPs, online).
It's a big expense for a small non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together individuals of all abilities through music, theater and other arts. Your donation goes to helping us pay those fees.
