The 1976 Central Valley cheerleaders are thrilled to kick-off a campaign that makes a difference for CV students. There is no better way to celebrate our 41st reunion, than to rekindle that love and compassion that Mr. Spirit, Jansen Badinger, showed every day. It's our honor to give back to the students at CV by reviving his legacy and supporting the Jansen's Door fund and scholarship.
Almost four years ago, CV lost a student who believed in everyone. Jansen greeted students and staff at the front door each day and told them to "believe and smile on." Additionally, he would hear about students in need, and would find ways to help them. The Jansen's Door fund has provided students with dance tickets, GSL passes, T-shirts and shoes when they could not afford them. The scholarship is awarded to one senior who best emulates the empathy and kindness that Jansen shared.
Our goal is to replenish the Jansen's Door fund and scholarship to $5000.00, but we need your help. Any donation great or small makes a difference. We will deposit the money into the CV account to benefit kids.
