Keep Steve Spurgeon On The Road

I left my house more than three weeks ago searching for a way to bring healing and unity to America through a song that I wrote the day after 911 called Wake up in the USA. I have ended up in New York City! As I’ve spread the message of kindness and unity, I’ve been haunted by the question of how to get America there in a real way that can last for generations to come. As I thought about the origin of the song and the sacrifices made by those who inspired it, it dawned on me that in order to have unity we must be kind to one another, but in order to be kind to one another we must honor each other. Honor has been a value that has been missing for a long time in our society. We almost don’t recognize it anymore! I believe we can begin to recognize it again if we think about those who protect and serve us. The First Responders. I believe that as we start to honor them and see them as the Superheroes in our society that they really are, then we will start to honor each other. After all they ARE us! Our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, and friends. Once we start to truly honor each other again then true kindness will show up and help forge a unity that can never be broken!
Help keep me on the road and together we can inspire everyone to
Wake Up in the USA!
