Keep 'Young Peoples Counselling Service' Free

Do you want to join me in making a difference  ' Putting our young people first'  Our project has two elements ‘@Hive’ Youth Club and Young Peoples Counselling Service which was established in 2006.  Emotional care is paramount within the delivery of both of our services.  I'm raising money in aid of 'Young Peoples Counselling Service' and every donation will help to keep our YPCS doors open and free.  We are running on empty. 
YPCS meets the need of young people aged 8-25 years. Through effective counselling actioned early and quickly we enable  increased self-worth, consequently empowering young people to remain included in education, society and home life.  We help young people feel they have something to offer and are valued whilst making the transition into adulthood.  Our young people can live turbulent and chaotic lives. Ever changing and in continuous states of flux. Emotional, behavioural and confidence issues are prevalent, along with challenging family and external situations, experiences and pressures. Critically young people are given time to process and reflect through actions which helps them take ownership  of consequences and their impact on others and the wider community. Through conversations, 1:2:1 work, group activity and play based working we explore other peoples realities, perceptions and expectations and work out with young people how to manage that.
