I'm Kristen Connolly, a Doctor of Physical Therapy working in pediatrics and orthopedics. It's been my dream to travel to a less fortunate country to provide medical services, and my dream is coming true. This April, I will travel with EDUTOURS to Tanzania, Africa.
Here, I will join with a group of students from Northwestern University and Physical Therapists to provide Physical Therapy services to children and families in the following facilities:
Neema House: care center for abandoned, orphaned, and at risk babies from two weeks to two years old

The Plaster House: high love, low cost surgical rehabilitation for disabled children in Tanzania to recover after corrective orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, or neurosurgery

Maasai Womens Development Organization (MWEDO): a not-governmental women-led organization to empower women
Why do I need YOU?
