Papa Joe to some, Buddy and Mr. Joe to others. Our Father, Grand Father, Brother, Uncle and friend. Always a helpful hand and a great smile. Papa Joe gave his time and friendship to anyone near.
He loves the lord and appreciate his family at Manor Church
Every 2nd Friday of the month you can find him downtown feeding the homeless. Every week day morning he will be at Operations Inasmuch Outreach Program helping with the feeding or just opening the doors to let others inside.
Other times you will see him either on the City Bus talking and laughing with everyone or riding around the town of Fayetteville, NC on his Motorized Wheel Chair.
Originally from Washington, DC. Fayetteville resident for the least 10 or more years.
On Friday evening Jan 18th tragedy, he was hit by a Pickup truck doing what he loves riding his wheelchair.
We appreciate the support in helping to give him a proper farewell
