KC trans pride march

Kansas City is known as the city of fountains. It is time for our city to shower our trans community with affirmation and support! An event of visible trans pride is long over due in the Midwest. Recent local and national events have harmed trans folks in Kansas City. These threats call for a peaceful and powerful response, calling out systems of oppression and celebrating our survivorship. On June 22nd, Gender Diverse (Non-Binary, Genderquake, Non-Gendered folks, TransWomen, Trans Men, Intersex) and their allies will take to the streets of Kansas City to resist  the discrimination of transphobia. We will powerfully stand in solidarity with one anther against the roots and stems of transphobia: white supremacy, patriarchy, colonization, capitalism, racism, and fascism.
