Hurricane Irma and soon Hurricane Jose are having a devastating impact on the British Virgin Islands.
My longtime friend and old Housemate Kay Smith has been marked as safe but has lost everything but the clothes she stands in when her home was destroyed by Hurricane Irma.
Kay has worked so hard over the passed few years training to gain her sailing qualifications and to make the BVI her home, sadly living the dream has become a nightmare for her and so many now.
It will take time for the BVI and the Caribbean to recover from the devastation and the emergency is still not over with Hurricane Jose looming over the horizon.
Kay will need time too and also need money to replace everything she has lost when her home blew away.
Please give whatever you can to help Kay rebuild her life and help the community make the BVI the paradise it should be.
