Kaye Fischer Medical Expense Fund

On April 4th, 2018 Kaye experienced a severe brain bleed which caused her to become unconscious and unresponsive. Kaye was rushed in an ambulance to the hospital in La Crosse, WI. She was later airlifted to Mayo Systems Saint Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN.
Kaye spent 11 days in the intensive care unit at Mayo, undergoing a number of surgeries and procedures on her brain. These operations were intended to find the root cause of the bleed and also address the pressure on her brain. Kaye is now out of the ICU but is still hospitalized and undergoing rigorous testing and therapy.
As of writing, Kaye can move her left arm and leg but not her right. She is opening her eyes for periods of time but is currently non-verbal. You can follow Kaye's progress and healing in the families Facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1465950333532191
An extreme medical crisis like this is a tremendous financial burden. We are raising $13,500 in order to help Tim, Kaye and Blessing get through this first difficult phase of the long road ahead. The $13,500 will cover the out of pocket portion of immediate medical expenses, travel expenses to and from Rochester and lodging in Rochester. While the long term cost is likely to be much higher these funds will go a long way in taking care of the immediate needs and relieve the current financial burden.
Tim and Kaye have already received some financial assistance from their local church, friends and family. The Fischer family is grateful for those generous donations. This $13,500 is needed in addition to what was already received in order to cover the immediate expenses.
