All proceeds benefit the Pediatric Infusion Clinic at the Cowell Family Cancer Center in Traverse City, Michigan.

Katie Heintz, a Traverse City St. Francis High School student and athlete remembered for her extreme kindness, died in August 2005 from acute myeloid leukemia. Throughout her treatment, she exhibited deep faith in God and urged family and friends to ‘Keep Believing.’ 

The annual Katie Heintz Basketball Tournament has raised more than $110,000 to benefit pediatric oncology and hematology patients at Munson Medical Center.
