On Friday, November 9th, my daughter Katie and her husband Taylor Johns lost their home in Seminole Springs, off Kanan Road to the devastating Woolsey Fire that swept through Agoura Hills to Malibu

This photo was taken the day they closed escrow. It was a happy day and the beginning of a long year of renovations to make this their home.

While they are thankful that they are safe and unharmed, we can’t imagine what it is like to lose your home, your car and everything in it. All their belongings fit into a duffel bag.

Taylor and Katie need funds urgently to cover everything you can think of - temporary shelter, rental car, home goods, clothes and toiletries even simple things like a phone charger. Taylor was self employed and worked out of his home office. He lost all computers, cameras, photo and movie equipment.
