Kathy's Breast Cancer Treatment

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Monday, December 17, 2018. I’ll have surgery in January. I have three doctor appointments this week and the surgeon will do genetic testing since my Mom and one of my Aunts had breast cancer.
In this short time, it’s already been an emotional whirlwind . I thank all of you for your support and words of encouragement- it truly means so much to me. Like those that have come before me and like those that will come after me, I will fight the good fight. Having this disease is a challenge, complicated by being single, with single income no paid sick time and not so good insurance. The healthcare insurance I have has very limited in-network providers and pays zero for out of network. MD Anderson, UT, Scott and White and Mayo Clinic are not providers for my insurance. I’m asking for your spiritual, emotional, physical and monetary support. Whether it’s a hug or a dollar, both will be equally appreciated. Please continue your prayers and support for my sweet Mom. I hate how hard this is for her.
