Kathy & Kids Care

Donation protected
Kathy has been in the hospital since the morning of Monday, March 27th, after suffering from a cerebral aneurysm* Unfortunately on Aril 3rd, at 3 p.m. we lost Kathy during her battle of survival. She has been surrounded with family and friends, love and cherished memories.

(* A cerebral aneurysm (also called an intracranial aneurysm or brain aneurysm) is a bulging, weakened area in the wall of an artery in the brain, resulting in an abnormal widening or ballooning. Because there is a weakened spot in the artery wall, there is a risk for rupture (bursting) of the aneurysm.)

In this case a rupture occured. She spent a week in the ICU, having surgeries and tests. Throughout it all, there was hope, and there was positive thoughts for her to come out of this okay. Sadly this battle was lost, though, being completely surrounded by love.

She wanted to be an organ donor, so the process of testing and evaluationns has begun. She has the chance to save up to 80 lives in total. Giving to others selflessly even in the end.

Kathy is a loving Mother, Grandma and friend. Her family and friends have been with her as she fought for her life. Offering love, support, and care for one another, while praying for a peacefull cross over out of this current state of being.

Everyone who meets Kathy knows she's genuine and one of a kind. She was helping to raise her 4 year old granddaughter Aiyanna, who was the center of Kathy's world. She tells it like it is and has always given 150% in everything she does, a true friend to all, and an honest and loving mother & grandmother.

As she has been in the hospital since 3/27, she has been unable to work. From mounting medical expenses, as well as personal bills that are building; her 3 children (Antonio, Cody, & Angeline) have hardly left her side. They have also been financially impacted by this tragedy. Travel, and food expenses, including missing work and bills are causing added burden. Now the process of greiving and healing will begin. We do not want the nagging stress of monetary worries.

We are asking for help to support Kathy and her children in hers and their time of need.
If you aren't able to help financially please share this page and send some good thoughts for Kathy.

On behalf of Kathy, her children, her family, and her friends, we would like to say thank you for your support and continued love and prayers.
