Kate's Mission Trip To Hungary

I am super excited to share with you that I will be headed to Hungary in just 3 weeks time! Jeff and I were missionaries in Budapest for nearly 10 years and helped plant 2 churches there. I have been hoping to return for years, and have especially had all those we served along side of in Hungary on my heart for the last 3 summers very strongly. Jeff and I always believed that we would return to Hungary and continue to minister there, whether through long-term living or short-term mission trips. While Jeff is unfortunately not well enough to return with me, we truly believe this will be the beginning of many more trips to come.
Before reaching out, I wanted to be sure I could put together a mission trip itinerary but I am thrilled to share that we have a trip planned that only God could have orchestrated and I am soooo humbled and honored and excited and tearful to be returning!
The first 10 days of our trip (Rebecca Loomis will be joining me during this time) will be primarily performing concerts, leading worship and speaking on suffering, forgiveness and and healing. 3 churches are using this as an opportunity for outreach and 1 concert will be at a youth detention facility for teen girls.
The next 5 days I’ll be focusing on individual and small group times with people, focusing on encouragement and healing prayer where desired.
Would you prayerfully consider financially supporting our mission trip to Hungary? Your funds will help me cover my costs for:
1. Flights - $1400
2. Car rental - $200 (not the whole time)
3. Food- $600
4. Public transportation -$200 (on bus or train)
5. Daily expenses -$20/day - $480
6. Treating our hosts (dinner out or gifts) $200
7. Additional luggage for CDs / gear $400
We are VERY grateful to be staying in the home Jeff and I built with friends while we were there! So lodging is covered except when we leave Budapest!
