Kate's Fund for Volunteer Trip

Hi everyone! 

I have recently been accepted to a Volunteer Public Health Internship in Ghana, Africa. This internship is through the West Africa AIDS Foundation (WAAF) and International Health Care Center in Ghana.
The purpose of this project is to help in designing and implementing projects to deal with HIV in various ways that range from the use of ICT, mobile health, training of health professionals to conducting surveys and research.

Any money I am able to raise will go toward my flight and program expenses. I am asking for funding help from others solely because I will not be gaining any income through the experience; I am simply interested in participating so I am able to gain field experience and aid to the needs of people less fortunate than myself.
