SEND KASEY TO HAITI

Ever since I graduated from nursing school 13 years ago, I felt I was called to help  with natural disasters. I tried to tell my dad right after graduation that I was moving to Africa to help care for those people who couldn't afford it.. he quickly responded, " you can't afford that... I paid for your education and you need to go make some money" so I went to work for a state hospital, it was the closest thing to non profit I could think of. At Harborview I was able to aquire a strong skill set and get a paycheck, but with every natural disaster that passed I felt a strong undeniable urge to be there helping. My daughter being very young in addition to the average cost to help being around $3,000.00 always deterred me. My daughter is older now, the cost is still high to go but I discovered GoFundMe .. lol. So I'm reaching out to My friends and family to see if anyone has it in their heart and their wallets to help to send me to Haiti with the International Medical Relief team, where I can use my nursing skills along with a medical team to care for those individuals who have suffered so much from the destruction of Hurricane Matthew. Also, my brother Christopher Doran, owner and trainer of Serious About Fitness in Redmond wa.. wanted to help.. he couldn't go to Haiti but he has agreed to give 5 personal training sessions to anyone who donated to this Go Fund Me. That is incredible and valued at $220 . The team I would be traveling with leaves for Port Au Prince on Oct 22, and the funds would cover airfare, ground transportation, food and lodging for the week I would be there.. if for some reason I don't raise the money I will donate everything I did raise to the team I would have been traveling with, so It will still go to helping with the relief, and you will still get your training sessions with the amazing Chris Doran.
