Karla's fight against ovarian cancer

Hi to anyone who may come across this,
My name is Karla and I am a wife and loving mother to my 3 lights of my life children, one of which is a special needs child which requires me to be his full time carer
Back in 2013 I had emergency surgery for what was a suspected ovarian cyst, something that Ive had surgery for many times in the past. However after what turned out to be a very tough surgery it turned out that I actually had stage 3c Ovarian Cancer.
I followed the chemotherapy plan and struggled but came through the other end of it with the doctors saying a I had no evidence of disease, which my family and I celebrated.
Unfortunately this news was short lived and in 2016 the doctors discovered the cancer had made its ugly return and had moved into my left lung, gallbladder and several different areas in my bowel.
I have been fighting this battle for 2 years and the treatment is taking a massive toll on my body. Im on a 3 week cycle of chemotherapy and it takes around 2 weeks for me to start feeling ok and able to start being able to do normal things like groceries and cleaning the house (something I'll never complain about doing ever again) The constant pain from the cancer and also the treatment is also getting hard to stay on top of and because of this I had to make the extremely hard decision to close my cake business which has had a big impact on how we are managing financially.
We have dipped into the savings we had, which was supposed to be for our first home that we could own.
The cost of the doctors visits, hospital visits, medication, parking and scans are now making our families basic living costs incredibly hard to stay on top of and
Im honestly not sure what to expect from doing this, all I know is I am not ready to leave my family and I will be fighting this to the bitter end
