The board and founding members of The Kappa Foundation of Columbia, SC understand that the day-to-day demands of our society require that all of America's children have access to higher education. If our community is to sustain and advance, our future and quality of life depends upon the preparation of a diverse cadre of leaders who can help build a stronger community.
These potential leaders, especially those drawn from groups that have traditionally and historically been denied access to higher education, require support and opportunities to earn and complete a college education.
For more than two generations, the founders of The Kappa Foundation of Columbia, SC have dedicated their lives to supporting youth in our community. In 2013 they started the Kappa Foundation of Columbia, SC. Committed to the vision of providing scholarships for students who choose to further their education beyond high school. The foundation recognizes that deserving students need to have the financial support to pursue their dreams of obtaining a college education.
The Kappa Foundation scholarships enable high school students who have demonstrated leadership potential and financial need to attend an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university of their choice.
You may give $15.00, $150.00, $1,500.00 or even $15,000.00. Help us meet our goal in 2015!
