Kanha and Andy's Wedding Donation

This is Kanha and Andy and thank you for coming to this page. We are very happy you can join us in our new life together and we would like to share our JWOC story and explain why we support the work of this NGO.

Kanha’s relationship with JWOC started 10 years ago. Like many children in Cambodia she was faced with very few educational opportunities and her family couldn’t afford to support her dream of going to university. It was at that point she got a scholarship from Journeys Within Our community (JWOC) and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree. And along the way JWOC became like a family and they remain a part of who she is today.

Moreover, JWOC brought us back together during Kanha’s fundraising trip in 2016 after our first meeting in 2012 in Siem Reap. We are so grateful to them for not only helping poor children go on to university but for bringing success, prosperity, charity and love to the world. We would like to share our experience and love with you by requesting donations to JWOC instead of gifts. Our goal is to help fund two programs: One is the scholarship program that will allow a student to go to university. In a poor country like Cambodia, this opportunity can fundamentally change someone’s life and make a huge difference not only to them, but their family and the whole community. The second program is centered around community support and we chose it because it is a reminder of Kanha’s background. She comes from a small rural village and this program changes lives in the community.
