Kangaroo's Cancer Treatment Fund

HI All,
For anyone who knows me, you either know Kangaroo, or know of my love...er, ok, obsession with Kangaroo. Ever since rescuing her from the Denver Animal Shelter over three years ago she's done nothing but bring joy into my world - and perhaps a little chaos. She's full of life, energy and a will to survive.
On Monday December 12th Kangaroo was diagnosed with Mast Cell Cancer - a form of cancer unfortunately well known to Boxers. This cancer targets the cells of the body and a tumor was developed on her right leg. In addition to this, an irregular heartbeat was a cause for concern.
After meeting with our regular vet, an oncologist, a cardiologist and a surgeon - the team is hopeful they can remove the tumor with clear margins.
Let me be honest, vet bills.....notttt the cheapest thing in the world, actually, the exact opposite. I'm normally not one to broadcast on Social Media my life events or ask for donations - but when it’s for Kangaroo, I'll do anything.
Kangaroo is scheduled to go into surgery on Tuesday December 20th. The funds collected from this campaign will go towards that bill and her recovering visits. Anything left over will be donated towards a local organization that provides help for others in this situation. It's the season of giving, and I ask you - if this dog has ever covered your face with kisses, used your lap as personal seat, or even just brought a smile to your face, please donate what you can. I can't put into words how thankful we would be. Any amount truly helps in this situation. $1 is enough to buy her a "feel better bone!"
