Kandace Love's battle of cancer

Our sister Kandace Love was diagnosed in September with stage 4 breast cancer which has metastasized to her bones.
Cancer had deteriorated the C6 vertebrae, where the neurosurgeon put in a titanium cage between C5 and C7 to stabilize her her spinal cord.
After a few weeks of recovery, she was treated with radiation on C5-C7 to reduce remaining cancer. In addition to C5-C7, Kandace has cancer in other parts of the vertebrae as well as her pubic bone and left femur.
More tests were run to determine what would be the best treatment for the remainder of cancer in her breasts, bones and lymph nodes. The Her2 test came back positive which would mean she would be able to be administered the Her2 med Herceptin.
More tests showed in the last week that her heart is not strong enough to qualify for this treatment. She is meeting with another oncologist this week to look for more or new options.
Kandace has been suffering from lower back pain these past couple of weeks and went in on Friday to find out that cancer in her lumbar has grown and causing her the back pain. She starts radiation this week in the L2-L5 area.
We are supporting Kandace to make a complete lifestyle change with her diet to give her the opportunity to improve her heart and to stop feeding her cancer cells. This lifestyle change includes a heart healthy, gluten free, organic food plan for her brain and mitochondria for optimal health. As we all know, eating healthy costs more money.
Kandace has not been working for the past couple of months due to recovery from surgery on her vertebrae and radiation. Last week she started back part time, but her pain was too much to sit for long periods of time. We would like to use some of these funds to get her the tools to make her comfortable so she can continue to work.
