Kamal is going to college at age 15

Our son Kamal Newson, is 15 years old and he is currently enrolled in the Dual Enrollment Program at York Technical College in Rock Hill, SC and will have the opportunity to receive a University Studies Certificate upon graduation.
The University Studies Certificate program provides students with a foundation of core courses that he or she can transfer 30 hours to a university.
Kamal will begin his first class on 6/25/18. His school tuition for the summer term is $1,151.00. His summer term has been paid in full. We are raising funds to now pay for his fall term.
He will continue to go to York Technical College all year round in conjunction to high school until he graduates from high school in 2020.
He currently has a 4.6 G.P.A. in high school and is ranked in the top 5% of his high school class. Throughout his elementary, middle, and high school years, he has been involved in the National Beta Club, the Gifted and Talented Program, Duke TIP, National Honor Society, Trojan Consul, and Piedmont Medical Center Teen Volunteer Program.
In addition, he has received a gold medal for state recognition at Furman University on behalf of Duke TIP for his outstanding ACT scores which granted him the opportunity to attend Rollins College in Winterpark, FL where he studied Medical Science including basic anatomy and physiology.
Furthermore, he will receive in June 2018 a Medical Scientists Award of Excellence of Future Physicians in Lowell, MA and one transferable credit from Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, MD.
Not only is he involved in his school and community, but he is actively involved in his church. He is an active member of Freedom Temple Ministries where he serves in the All Access Ministry.
