Grenada Mission Trip

I will be going on a short term mission trip to Grenada from June 8th-18th. Antioch International Church  is leading the trip and we will be working directly with YWAM to share the love of the Lord through a national women’s conference, daily street evangelism and a youth rally. Approximately 90% of the population of Grenada is under the age of 24 and are very open to hearing the Gospel. I am excited to see how the Lord uses us and continues to stir hearts in the country of Grenada.

The total cost of the trip is $1750.00, which covers food, transportation, and lodging.  All donations made through Antioch International Church are tax deductible, simply go to Antioch International Church, select the "Donate" button on the top right to give through PayPal and make sure to put "Kaitlyn’s Mission Trip" in the note so the money goes to the right place.

 
I feel a deep call to the mission field, specifically in regards to helping missionaries and my desire is to use my photography and design to provide missionaries the tools they need to adequately portray their work, progress and mission. I believe my passion for photography and design is more that just a hobby or a way to make a living, but it is a tool I have been given to change people's lives around the world. These tools will provide better awareness and help these missionaries better communicate with their donors, as well as, raise the support and funding they need to continue sharing the love of the Lord around the world.

I am currently in the process of applying SIM (Serving In Missions), which is an international missions organization based out of Fort Mill, SC. I am almost ready to submit the full application and once accepted I will be able to work with missionaries all over the world to provide them with photography, design and media to help them better portray their work in that region.


Since the beginning of this year, I have been presented with multiple opportunities to go on mission trips and work with mission organizations.

 June- Antioch International Church, working with YWAM - National Women’s Conference, Street Evangelism, Youth Rally

 July- Newburgh, New York (one of the top 10 most dangerous cities in America)- Working with our pastor’s son’s church - Vacation Bible School

 I am also in contact with missionaries from World Mission Go, who go on multiple evangelistic missions trips to Central America, every year, and are also interested in using my skills to help them.

 Basically, lots of doors are opening and I am continually trusting that the Lord will provide and lead me through the right ones.
