On October 6th, our beloved friends Kayla & Jermaine suffered an unimaginable tragedy. There perfect 2 month old 10lb beautiful little boy Kairo, unexpectedly passed in his sleep. Kayla fed him and put him to bed like she had every night since her perfect little boy came home, and completed their family. Kayla woke a few hours later to wake Kairo for a feed when she reached out to him she noticed he was cold to the touch. Sheer panick and terror took over, 911 was called but unfortunately there was nothing they could do to save their little boy. We have no further details at this time and it could be 6-9 months till we find out the exact cause. Kayla & jermaines world has been completely shattered and a parents worst nightmare is now what they are living. Anyone who knows Kayla knows that her reason for being put on this earth was to make and love her beautiful babies. Kayla has the biggest heart and would give the shirt off her back for anyone. She regularly coupons and donates to those in need. Whenever she would take trips she would bring suitcases full of brand new clothes and toys for kids in less forunate countries.
Unfortunately due to Kairo's passing Kayla's maternity benefits have been terminated and we would like to help her and jermaine out in anyway we can.
We created this Go Fund Me page to help pay for Kairos memorial and whatever else they may need at this time. Jermaine will also be bringing his baby boy back home to Jamaica to spread some of his ashes in his hometown with family. We want Kayla and Jermaine to be able to heal and spend time with there sons and not worry about bills or money. We want them to be able to take the time they need to mourn the loss of their son, their baby boy. No amount is too small. If you cannot donate please share. The memorial of Kairo Cruz Hanna will be held on Tuesday October 15th at 1pm. It will be held at Hope City Church 2225- 66 Street, Edmonton, AB. With snacks and coffee to follow.
