Help for Kacie

On Tuesday, April 4, 22 year old Kacie Fitzpatrick was involved in a serious car accident.  She lost control of her car in icy conditions in Colorado.  Kacie was med flighted with critical injuries to Denver.  Kacie's injuries, included  a broken spine, a crushed pelvis, internal bleeding, collapsed lung, and a fractured skull resulting in multiple surgeries to begin the process of recovery.  After 10 days in the Trauma ICU Kacie is almost ready to make her way down the Rehab Road.   Due to Kacie's extensive injuries, the doctors predict that Kacie will  need acute care, in-patient rehab and will not be able to return to work for at least a year. 

Kacie graduated from Tri-county High School in Franklin, MA, with her CNA degree and has been working hard and saving to pursue her dream of  becoming a massage therapist.  She recently became certified after returning from training in Thailand and has started building clientele for her own business in the Tabernash, Colorado area.  Everybody loves Kacie. She has a zest for life, and so much passion. Kacie is dedicated and driven and always willing to be there.

Kacie's mother, Kellie Donahue-Fitzpatrick, an employee of the Bose Corporation for 24 years has been  by Kacie's side, and soon will need to fly back and forth to Mass.  for work. Thank you Bose for your support.

Kacie is hardworking, dedicated, and very active.  She loves animals, the elderly, she moved to Co. to pursue the outdoors and nature. This incident is surely devastating,  whether you know Kacie, know of her, or not at all. We want everyone to know how special she is and to know how appreciated a donation of any amount would be.
