Margaret Redman medical bill/farm

As many of you know our dear friend and horsewoman Margaret Redman was hit head-on by a teen driver on Monday morning on her way to get grain for her ponies. She was flown to Prince George's Co. Hospital Center --PGH.   Thankfully Margaret did not sustain any life-threatening injuries, but unfortunately she did sustain multiple severely broken bones that will take a very long time to recover and heal.  Once released from PGH she will have to go to rehab for a few weeks to learn how to walk/move around which is going to be extremely hard as she will be non-weight bearing on her left leg and her right arm is broken which will make it difficult if not impossible to use crutches or a walker.   In addition, Margaret's truck was completely totaled.  As you know Margaret drives a school bus and will now be out of work for quite some time as she has severe injuries and breaks in both legs.  We are hoping to raise $50,000 to help offset the mounting bills and expenses that Margaret will be facing in the coming months without the ability to work and generate the income needed to keep a working horse farm on its feet.  Margaret is the most giving woman alive with the biggest heart and has helped so many of us and many animals in so many ways over the years.  We would love to lift the burden of financial worry from her plate as she faces the long road to recovery.
