Aimee Campbell

Hi I'm trying to raise money for my friend Aimee Campbell , She is 22 years old and suffers from a condition called Crohn's disease. Unfortunately She has had a really tough time with it which has taken over her life almost completely. She was diagnosed in July 2013, and went on to have surgery after all medications failed. They removed most of her small intestine and part of her large intestine. She then developed a blood clot on her lung too. Unfortunately the last year has been really rough. During surgery she suffered nerve damage to her intestines and Is now unable to eat without vomiting sometimes she can't even drink so She spends a lot of my time in hospital being rehydrated and have a feeding tube placed to help with her nutrition. Unfortunately there is no cure for this and surgery is also not an option so until a cure is found, She has to love everyday vomiting and in constant pain. There's only so much her body can take of this too which showed when in January her body went into organ failure due to being so malnourished and her body fighting a constant battle with itself. For lent she raised money for the GI unit in the mater hospital where She attends and receives the best of care from her team. She currently contracted a Functional Neurological Syndrome which is an illness that attacks the nervous system causing paralysis. The money raised would be used for medical expenses and to do the things an average 22 year old should be able to do.
