Okay, here's the deal.
My name is Cindy, and almost three years ago, I was in a bad motorcycle wreck that completely upended my entire life. Because I could not work and was in a wheelchair, I had to move back in with my parents.
In the meantime, I have started going to college to get my degree to become a high school Chemistry teacher.
The reason I've started this campaign is because my living arrangements have become completely intolerable. This house has always been a toxic environment, but it has steadily become worse over the years to the point that I cannot focus on my work, which is vital to my future.
I'm asking for $2,000 because that would be enough to pay first month's rent and deposit, start up my utilities, and tie me over until Vocational Rehabilitation can pick up the tab. This means preserving my mental health and providing me with the ability to leave a very toxic environment sooner than my own funds would allow.
You have no idea how grateful I will be. I am not accustomed to asking for help for anything, but I am literally at my wits end with this situation. My only alternative is to live in my car, and while I have done it before, I would prefer to not have to do it again.
I'm offering art as a reward. I have a knack for superheroes and fan art, but I can draw pretty much anything, thus I'm offering custom note cards and greeting cards for people who support this campaign. It is the only thing that I can offer other than my eternal gratitude.
