Jim Joined the Camleot Therapeutic Horsemanship herd in May of 2016. Both tall and strong, we knew he could carry our adult students just as his anscetors carried knights in the days of Kings, Queens, and the round table.
In the short time he has been at Camelot, Jim has learned to stand quietly at the mounting ramp, to move steadily as riders find their balance, and to be a beautiful canvas when it is time to be painted upon.
Now, Jim will go to driving school with an expert driving trainer, and will learn to pull a cart. If he shows the confidence and willingness during the training, Jim will be able to reinstate the driving program that has long been an intregral part of the Camelot curriculum.
The cost of the training for the month of December is $1,500 and we are anticipating that the specialized cart we will purchase will also be $1,500.
