Hundreds have lost their lives. Thousands are injured. Children have lost their parents, and parents have lost their children. Hundreds of thousands have lost everything. Absolute devastation.
This is the reality of Ecuador's earthquake.
We are a group of American-Ecuadoreans raising money to buy and send basic necessities: Blankets, milk and diapers for children, medicines, LifeStraw Personal Water Filter. Most especially we want to send tents and sleeping bags which are desperately needed.
We will upload to this page everything that is bought, and sent so that you can see in real-time how your money is making a difference.
The urgency is now.
We are working both with the local Ecuadorean Consulate and the Department of Social Inclusion in Ecuador to understand the greatest needs at the moment. However, we will personally purchase and deliver the goods to the locations destined by the Consulate. Deliveries to Ecuador are leaving daily (air and sea).
