Andrea's Death Midwifery Courses

Hello friends and family far and near.
Earlier this year Andrea found information on a course entitled "death midwifery". She was so excited. Most will not be familiar with what a death midwife is (I suggest reading this http://www.deathmidwifery.ca/death_death_midwifery.html ) but in brief they provide service in the area of education, home funeral guidance and bereavement support. Anyone terminally ill or that has had someone pass would use her for a multitude of reasons.
It's a position for the community that we currently do not have.
Andrea is a beautiful, kind and generous soul. Her focus has always been 'children first'. That maternal focus has, however, placed her second everytime. Being able to take this course means more than the experience or the role of death midwife after. It puts her first.
So. With ambitious fury I said yes. Yes we can. Our income is low. And my farm position has slowed to half. So I took up two more part time jobs. Then started doing yard work on the side for cash. I broke down the numbers and we weren't going to make the $2400 for early January.
Then came the things Andrea doesn't know about. I went to the bank to apply for a loan. Denied. I pawned guitars. And now am looking for some sort of night shift I can take. And after all of this.... we're still short.
Now I'm reaching out to you. (Another Andrea doesn't know thing). If you have $5 $10 $20 anything gets us closer. Please help me help her. She deserves this. We, as a community need someone like this in our city. If you've ever lost someone and felt confused, this is the place you'd begin your search. Let's help Andrea begin hers.
