"Addiction is a family disease... one person may use, but the whole family suffers."
Everyone is aware of the heroin epidemic going on, but what about the children/adolescents. What about teaching them prevention?
Our goal is to provide assistance to children and adolescents who have suffered from the disease of addiction, or just in general "family dysfunction". This assistance includes tutoring, children or adolescents who are struggling in school. Therapy for children and adolescents who struggle with communicating or coping. While learning about this ugly disease. Our therapist are volunteer therapist, all certified. We also want to start fun activities for these children and adolescents who have not had much time to focus on themselves, such as sports, music lessons, art classes and so forth. Therefore, they have a chance to find something they enjoy doing.
We also provide financial assistance to those young adults and adults who are in need of substance abuse treatment who can’t afford it.
