Justice For Quattro

Quattro, the cat, was beaten to death with bricks on May 7, 2014 by a group of grade school children. Grade school children brutally beat a stray cat with stones, bricks and sticks which caused him to die a week later, police said.

Youngsters all under the age of 10 allegedly attacked the innocent feline near the School 4 playground in Paterson, New Jersey, on May 7. Suffering a broken leg and skull, and with one of its eyes destroyed, the savage assault on the kitty only ended when two older children stepped in and chased the gang away.

This happened on school grounds, near a playground in Paterson, NJ. The group was throwing bricks at the cat, who could not get away due to injuries. A 14 year old boy, who is a TRUE HERO and we are thankful and proud of him for standing up for what is right, saw these kids beating the cat with bricks, rocks and sticks, he ran in and grabbed the cat and took him home to his mother to get it help immediately.

Chance At Life Cat Rescue was contacted and immediately rushed Quattro to the vet. Among some of the injuries Quattro's legs were fractured, his eye so severely damaged that it had to be removed, his jaw was fractured, he had blood and pus in brain and his nails ripped from his paws in his attempt to escape this vicious attack but he was too weak and injured to get away.

We are heartbroken to say that Quattro was beaten so gravely that he succumbed to his injuries.

Our hearts are broken but our fight for justice has just begun!

We would like to honor the heros who stepped in and stopped this vicious attack. Two young teenagers, aged 12 and 14, who wish to remain anoymous had the courage to jump in and do everything in the power to save this poor and helpess cat.

It is because of these 2 brave young men that charges are now being pressed in this case. They worked with the police to ensure that justice will be served for Quattro. An act that requires a lot of bravery!

The 14-year-old wants to be a veterinarian since the attack and his younger brother is an aspiring photographer, but their mother said she can’t afford to buy him a camera he has been eying. Request have been pouring in on ways that we can help honor these two amazing boys act of courage and bravery.

This Go Fund Me campiagn will  be used to purchase the camera as well as start a college fund for the up and coming veterinarian.

If you would prefer to mail a check, please contact [email redacted].

All donations will be used soley for the two heros as a way to honor their bravery and help fulfill future college dreams.
