Justice for Tobin

HELP!!!! On Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 @ 11am our daughter Tobin daycare providers left her and two other children in a hot truck, on a hot day, to go shopping at Bjs in Manchester CT. They were left in the car 20/30 minutes. Tobin was 1.5 years old at the time and the other kids were 1.5 and 3. The kids were extremely lucky because two heroes, that worked at Bjs, heard them crying, investigated, and called 911.
The daycare providers were arrested and charged with 3 misdemeanors and they posted bail and were out within hours. We hired a lawyer and got their charges increased to 3 misdemeanors and 3 felonies.
We want to make sure they do not get off with just a slap on the wrist and they never harm another child again.
We are only asking for help with lawyers/court costs and a few medical cost (not covered by insurance) incurred by this long and ongoing process. (I work for a non profit with adults with developmental disabilities and my husband works for Comcast. We have been picking up as much OT as we can to cover the cost of this.) We don’t like to ask for help but it is starting to take a toll on us. We are overwhelmed and stressed out to the max. This most likely, at least, will cost $6000-$10,000
Every little bit helps. We just want to make sure Tobin gets justice and her voice heard, so this never happens again.
