Coming soon to a city near you, the Just Ask Mobile!
The Just Ask Foundation is currently in the process of planning a 2014 nationwide awareness campaign for neurofibromatosis.
Our multi-targeted campaign will consist of speaking engagements in cities with NF Chapters, television appearances (locally and nationally), ad campaigns, fundraisers, road trips in the Just Ask Mobile, a social media team and, well, you get the picture.
Wow! Those Are Some Really Big Plans!
You are correct. But if we want big results, we need to start with a big plan. Will we accomplish everything on the plan? Maybe. Maybe not, but until we try, we'll never know.
But, in our mind, if we can make a difference in one person's life, we will have succeeded. Big time!
I'm Hooked! What Can I Do to Help?
Funny you should mention that!
It's going to take a little money. Not a fortune but certainly more than what we have in the bank right now which is about $514.
Up until now, we have depended on the sale of Just Ask! t-shirts and a few donations here and there to make ends meet. Well, quite frankly, to accomplish our goals for 2014, it will require a lot more than a few hundred dollars.
Our Fundraising Goal is $120,000.
Our plan is to target one major city a month via the "Just Ask! Mobile" for 12 months.
That's $120,000 for two people to travel cross country continuously raising awareness of neurofibromatosis. Includes diesel fuel for bus, bus maintenance, insurance, tolls, motels, meals, internet service for posting on the road, admission fees to events, production of Just Ask giveaways to fans, business cards, displays, and about 1,000 packages of Oreos for snacks!
We will be attending major events parking the Just Ask Mobile in prime locations, tailgating, speaking to NF groups, appearing on radio programs, TV talk shows:who knows, maybe even The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The point is we're going to be working our butts off raising awareness of NF at every stop and every mile marker on the road. At every truck shop, motel, restaurant and rest stop across the country.
All donations are tax deductible!
We need your generous donation to make our dream a reality. Of course, the Just Ask Foundation is a 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible!
Also, we have corporate sponsorships available for any company that would be interested in helping us along our travels, specifically hotels, motels, gasoline/diesel providers, chain restaurants, cell phone companies, Internet providers, video equipment, etc.
Plus, we will be posting on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Vimeo, You Tube and every other social media network we can access to keep you informed of our travels and adventures.
We Are Thankful for Your Help!
Come early and enjoy more! Open from 4pm to 10pm!
Just Ask T-shirts for sale! Astros Ticket raffles!!! Restaurant Gift Certificate raffles!!! Art Cars! Food! Maybe even an appearance from one of your favorite Houston Roller Derby Stars!!!
If you are unable to attend Reggie's fundraiser, you still can help by donating what you can at this site! Your generosity allows us to continue Reggie's mission of raising awareness of neurofibromatosis worldwide!
The Just Ask Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your generous financial donation.
In the early days of the Just Ask World Tour, Byron, a mechanic, proved to be a Godsend helping us fix the bus and making it road worthy to help us raise awareness of neurofibromatosis.
While Byron wasn't a rich man, he never asked for anything in return for his services. I think he was very proud of his participation in the Just Ask World Tour and especially very proud of his brother, Reggie.
Because of Byron, the Just Ask World Tour lives on. And now, because of you and the Just Ask World Tour, the beautiful memory and legacy of Byron can live on forever.
Donations may be made online here at the GoFundMe Just Ask page or, by check, to the following address:

The Bibbs Family and I Thank You!
Please know that it wasn’t easy getting to this stage of the Just Ask World Tour. It took a lot of time, sweat and money to make this happen.
Reggie and I were happy to take care of the time and sweat and a lot of the money involved with raising awareness of neurofibromatosis.
But now, unfortunately we are falling short on the money part that will take us through the tour.
I am truly excited as we have proven that the Just Ask Bus will work as a great awareness vehicle, pardon the pun, through the views donations and Shares of news of our travels.
The $15,000 we have raised so far has helped to get the Just Ask bus in condition to travel the country. We have a motor we kind of trust, the exterior wrap is finished and looks great thanks to some special help from Matt Cline and Bayou Graphics, and a very functional but yet cool looking interior from the Upholstery Shop.
Now, quite honestly, we need to build up the GoFundMe account so that we can actually travel with the bus.
This upcoming trip to attend the CTF Forum in Scottsdale, Arizona has more than tapped us out on our expense account. Fo us to continue and post a schedule, we will need to raise some money, not a lot, but enough to get us to a few more locations.
We really want to be able to make it to Canada and see all of our friends in Vancouver, Calgary, Manitoba and, yes, Red Deer.
Any help you can provide, no matter how small will go a long way for Just Ask to fulfill it’s mission — to make life easier to all with neurofibromatosis by raising awareness, understanding and compassion for those challenged by it.
I can’t think of a better ambassador for NF patients than Reggie Bibbs.
He is doing extraordinary things way beyond even his comfort level to make it easier for the next NF patient to live life a little easier.
If you are unable to donate, and we totally understand, at least share this page with your friends in the event they would like to help.
I think we owe Reggie our unending love and affection but also the funds to help him do what he was born to do.

I applaud this effort in spreading the word about NF, My grandmother, father, sister and nephew all have it and it effects (effected in my grandmother's case God rest her soul) them each differently. I know it's hard for those that have never seen a person with NF to know that it is not contagious or some sort of hygiene problem. (I've heard a lot of people's theories about it) It's heartbreaking to hear the offensive things some of them have said about my dad and to see some of them refuse to take his money when he tried to make purchases out of fear, ignorance or disgust(not sure which to be honest). I know when i have been in line behind him tje cashiers have gone out of their way on occasion to mention my dads fibroids amd i have refused to do business with that store and have made complaints to management on more than a few of these occasions. With all that said, I wish you all the luck in the world on your journey to educate people!
I thought I would share this with you guys!
It seemed like such an impossible dream when Reggie and I first talked about taking Just Ask on the road but now that dream is about to become a reality. We'd like to thank all of the people whose advice, generosity and energy have helped propel us to where we are today. I'd like to thank Tracy Boulware, owner of Deer Lake Lodge, for her unbelievable gift of the bus which allowed us to actually believe we could pull this off! I'd like to thank Andrew Flanagan, owner of GFX Wraps, for donating the labor and expertise to cover the bus with a custom-designed Just Ask vinyl exterior. This gift is especially meaningful as Andrew and his wife have been in and out of Texas Children's Hospital caring for their infant son, Grayson, who was born with a severe heart defect, Downs, and blindness in his left eye. We'd like to thank Joanie King, of the Orange Show and the Art Car Parade, for believing in us and providing the energy and kick in the pants to get this bus pointed in the right direction. We'd like to thank all of the wonderful people who believed in our mission enough to donate their hard earned money to ready the bus for extended travel. And last, but certainly not least, I'd like to thank Reggie for opening my eyes to what is truly important in life and giving me the strength to deal with my own personal challenges which I thought were many but pale dramatically in comparison to what Reggie Bibbs faces every day. God bless you, Reggie Bibbs! Lou Congelio Acme Fish 832-723-9824 Lou@acmefish.com
