Jumpstart Kristin's Pilot Career

~ Anything Raised Above The Goal Will Turn Into Flight Training Scholarships For New Student Pilots ~

When I partnered with Mokulele Airlines to begin a hiring project for young pilots like me, I had no idea that we'd get such amazing response.

Out of the 130+ applications received for just a few pilot positions, one stood out to me and our team in particular. Kristin Gibson from Prescott, AZ mentioned that she worked two jobs as a full time college student to afford her start in aviation. That caught my attention, so I wanted to find out more. Throughout our conversation (which can be found in the video attached), I realized that this job opportunity wasn't just going to be a cool way for her to build flight time... It would literally alter the course of her career. 

With no way to afford her Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate, I could see that Kristin was being left in a hole with few options to build flight hours towards a high-paying airline pilot career. After she's able to build flight time here at Mokulele, she'll be in a position to start paying back her student loans once she's hired at a larger airline. 

Funds from this donation page will be used to ensure Kristin is able to afford the expensive move to Hawaii. At this point, affording airline tickets, housing, transportation, and food will be nearly impossible for Kristin.
