Donation protected
Peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, Julie Lynne Ballantyne passed away Sunday December 24, 2017.

She leaves behind her two remarkable children. Ashley Lindsay, age 22 (Dan Gignac) and Eric Lindsay, age 19 (Maddy Generoux). Along with life time friend Ed Lindsay.

Thank you so much to all those who took the time to support our dear friend Julie. In thought, message, prayer and support to Julie's Care Fund. We will continue to receive support to assit her family with funeral cost & any outstanding expences.

Go in PEACE...you will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!

In recent months you may have noticed the absence of Julie Ballantyne in your life. As you may also know this is out of character for Julie, and being the caring attentive person that she is she would never disengage from a friendly “hello”, a coffee date or trip to the gym.

What you may not know is that our dear friend Julie has been forging a battle of her own, she has been diagnosed with gallbladder cancer and has spent the last few months receiving treatment at the Brantford General Hospital.

Staying in the hospital for an extended period is never easy for anyone, but as a Registered Massage Therapist you count on the wages from the time you work to cover the costs of living, and being unable to work effectively translates to no income coming in, which makes the situation that much more precarious.

Julie is a mother of two wonderful children Ashley and Eric and has done an outstanding job as a mother raising them and teaching them the ways of life. Her job isn’t over and she plans on being there for them as they embark on their first milestones; their first love, their first house, their first baby. All of the “firsts” not only belong to her children they belong to her as well.

All the money raised will directly go to Julie’s Care Fund and will go towards covering the following ongoing costs:

· hospital stay

· cancer drug therapy

· cancer therapy treatment

· additional devices needed to support life

· outstanding living expenses

Julie means the world to us and we do not want her to go through this alone!

We sincerely appreciate you and thank you for taking time out of your busy day to acknowledge a friend, colleague and mother as she embarks on this heroic battle.
