Julie Agee's Journey To Fight Cancer!

Here is Julie's story:
In 2016, Ben and Julie Agee were called into the full time ministry in Gracias Honduras. They sold everything they owned, turned in their resignations, packed their bags, told their families good-bye, and headed to Honduras answering the Lord's call to full time ministry for orphans.

On Monday evening June 19, 2017 Julie thought she having an emergency appendectomy which turned into something so much bigger! 

When Julie woke up from her surgery.  The first thing she saw was her nurse. The second thing she saw was a huge clock in the room. When she saw the time on the clock she knew something had not gone according to plans. Her surgery was only supposed to be a 30 -50 minute procedure with a 1 - 2 hour wake up window, a total of 3 hours, and she knew that she was well past that time frame.  

She saw her husband Ben in the room with tears in his eyes. Ben explained to Julie that she did not have an appendectomy, the doctor had found multiple tumors, and had taken biopsies from 3 different areas in her lower abdomen to determine what type of cancer was in her body.  

The very first words Julie spoke to Ben were "This does not change our calling to Honduras" And it will not. We have a mission to fulfill in Gracias. They cried, and spoke the truth of the moment--we are still called to Honduras.

To show you how the Lord works, Julie's doctor told her that there wasn't a clock in the room and there hasn't ever been a clock in the room.  Julie felt that the clock was a sign from the Lord giving her time to prepare for the news of cancer.  

Since then Julie & Ben have had so many friends and family call, email, and text with words of encouragement, daily devotions, and scriptures. What a testimony to friendship and family--so very grateful.

After much prayer and discussion with their doctors in Honduras and other medical professionals in the states, they have decided to take a leave of absence from Honduras to get treatment in the states. Ben and Julie are flying back this weekend and plan to seek medical care in Jacksonville, FL.

Julie and Ben are praying this situation will bring Glory to the Lord, lives will be changed in salvation, lives will be transformed by God, and that God will show them the "Joy" in this journey.

So here is what is needed:
1- Prayer and Financial Funding for Ben and Julie as they work through the challenges of medical costs and other expenses, since they do not currently have insurance in the states.
Funding will be used for airline tickets for the whole family from Honduras to Jacksonville FL.
Extensive medical treatment for Julie at multiple facilities
Living and travel expenses
Affordable medical insurance
