Jules Recovery

On Oct 17th our 17 year old daughter Jules was in a massive crash.  Jules was hit by a  dump truck going highway speed. He never had time to brake.  Rescue, medical, and law enforcents persons have not seen someone survive a crash like this. It took an hour to extract her with her feet being pinned.  She was airlifted to Hennipen County Medical Center. Doctors read her cat scan results : two jaw fractures, one in C6 vertebrae, rib 1, two fractures in her pelvis, broken left leg, torn spleen, and a mild to moderate brain injury. Two surgeries and a week later we brought Jules home. She's eating through a straw, but she's home! The den is now her bedroom. Small tasks are difficult when you can't bare any weight on your legs  and one is casted to the thigh.I quit my job to care for Jules. We made the 170 mile round-trip drive 3 times for checkups the 1st week. We have a long road ahead of us. Medical auto insurance was exhausted by the $19,600 medical air lift.
We want to focus on being positive and recovery. To see her walk down the isle to get her diploma this Spring and start college in the Fall.
We ask for help paying medical bills, expenses, and lost income if you are able.
Thank you so much,
-Magers and Reed Family
