Tropical Storm Disaster

Donación protegida
We are in need of your help! As Hurricane Harvey hit Texas this week, Houston is currently experiencing a terrible tropical storm. In our area, many people including family and friends have lost their homes due to these floods. Our high school, Dobie, has been set up as a shelter. FEMA, National Guard, Fire Fighters, and other agencies have rescued people in the community from their flooded homes.
We are a small group of former AP Spanish Literature students who are seeking your help for our beloved Spanish teacher and friend who have lost their homes due to this storm. Although we may not have class together anymore, we are still close like a family. We stick together. Our Spanish teacher is like a mother to us; she is hardworking and supportive. She is the best at her job. Secondly, our friend is helpful and supportive too. From staying up in the attic till 3 AM due to the rising water level in the house to waking in the middle of the night to a room full of water, it hurts to see the people we love lose everything. Luckily, they are safe now. But as our community continues to face this disaster, we are seeking your help to help our Spanish teacher and former classmate. Anything is appreciated. All donations will go directly to our teacher and friend as they recover from this.
Prayers to all in the community, Houston, and to everyone in the state of Texas who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Thank you,

AP Spanish Literature Class
